Working in Print
Artist presentation, Thursday May 8, 15h – 17h ARCMTL, 6600 Saint-Urbain local 306
Most artists dream of being able to live from their art. This discussion features three artists working in print who have managed to do just that, make a living by printing and selling art prints. Join moderator Billy Mavreas, a longtime Montreal poster artist and artist, in discussion with successful local artists JG (Material Group), Ray Biesinger and Todd Stewart (breeree). From graphic design and illustration contracts to printing other artists’ works to creating art prints to sell directly to the public, there are many ways that artists working in print can build a career with.
The discussion will feature printed works from each artist selected from ARCMTL’s archives. Free admission.
