ARCMTL is proud to announce a new project about the history of The New Penelope, the legendary Montreal café that in the 1960s hosted intimate performances by the likes of Muddy Waters, Joni Mitchell, Robert Charlebois, Frank Zappa and many more ! This mulitmedia online exhibit is available online here.

The Volume 7 MTL art book festival, organized by ARCMTL, will be held from October 2 to 6 in Montreal, with an art book fair on October 5 and 6, 2024.

In the meantime, check out the growing number of Montreal publications in this collection, with recently added titles such as Voice of Montreal, Virus and Pop Rock Jeunesse.

Volume 7 MTL : Art and the Book, October 2-6, 2024 Volume 7 MTL was the seventh edition of ARCMTL’s newest project: a week dedicated to art publishing and artists’ books. Workshops, conferences, discussions, presentations and a fair bringing together more than 50 publishers and creators were held in Montreal in October 2024.
