Archive Montreal presents an exhibit of local concert posters, photos and related ephemera from the mid 1960s to mid 1970s, a formative and exciting period in the city’s nascent music scene. See the names, big and small, that played the many clubs, venues and festivals that have long faded from the scene. The exhibit showcases material from Archive Montreal’s extensive collections as well as photos and posters loaned by period photographers, collectors and the Musée du Rock and Roll du Québec. For more information, visit www.mtlundergroundorigins.ca. The event is a CKUT co-presentation. Montreal Underground Origins is a research and oral history project made possible by the support of the Government of Canada through its department of Canadian Heritage.
